CALGARY - An estimated 800 Calgary business, government and community leaders will gather at the Hyatt Regency Calgary on October 19, 2011 to honor three legendary entrepreneurs as they are officially inducted into Calgary Business Hall of Fame. The esteemed Peter Mansbridge, anchor of The National and CBC News’ Chief Correspondent, returns to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 8th Annual Gala Dinner & Induction Ceremony.

CALGARY - May 2nd, 2009 - One of Calgary's leading oilmen, the man behind Big Rock Brewery, and the legendary "Cattle King" are being added to the Calgary Business Hall of Fame this year. The trio of laureates, announced at a luncheon in Calgary on Friday, includes the late Senator Pat Burns, the ranching and meat-packing giant, along with Allan Markin, chairman of Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., and Ed McNally, founder of Big Rock Brewery.

CALGARY - May 1, 2009 - One of Calgary's leading oil and gas visionaries, the man behind Big Rock Brewery, and the legendary "Cattle King" are the 2009 laureates selected for induction to the Calgary Business Hall of Fame.

Arlene Dickinson, CEO Venture Communication and member of the "Dragons Den" announced that Allan P. Markin, Edward E. McNally and Senator Patrick Burns (posthumously) are the newest inductees honoured at a luncheon hosted by Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta at the Hyatt Regency.
