Announcing the 2008 Laureates
Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta is pleased to announce the 2008 Calgary Business Hall of Fame Laureates:
This year's Inductees will be welcomed into the Calgary Business Hall of Fame at the 2008 Gala Dinner & Induction Ceremonies, on Wednesday, November 5th at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

The 2008 Laureates will be included with the past Calgary Business Hall of Fame Inductees in a permanent exhibit located in Bankers Hall East Tower lobby.

CALGARY - May 9th, 2008 –
One of Canada's top legal minds, the man behind Engineered Air, and an oil and gas legend are the 2008 laureates for the Calgary Business Hall of Fame. Arlene Dickinson announced that James S. Palmer, Donald J. Taylor and Edward Galvin (posthumously) are the newest inductees honoured today at a luncheon hosted by Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta at the Hyatt Regency.
"These three Alberta pioneers are true community leaders," said Scott Hillier, President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta (JASA). "They have set the benchmark for corporate excellence as both citizens and mentors in our global community. It is through their example as well as current Laureates that we set the standard for induction to the Calgary Business Hall of Fame."
